Privacy policy

The short version

AI-Pix does not collect, store, or transmit your images — or anything else about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. The only party that sees your connection is the CDN that serves the static pages.

Your images

Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript and the HTML5 Canvas API. When you choose a file, your browser reads it from your disk, processes it in memory on your device, and offers the result back as a download. No image data is ever sent to AI-Pix or to any third party. The site has no server-side code and no upload endpoint; the Content-Security-Policy header restricts the page to connecting only to its own origin, so a script could not send your data elsewhere even by mistake.

You can verify this yourself: load any tool page, disconnect from the internet, and use it — it still works.

Data we collect

None. AI-Pix does not use analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, advertising networks, or any third-party scripts. Fonts, the image-processing runtime and the AI models are all served from this site's own domain, so no third party sees your visit.

AI-Pix Pro (paid licence)

Pro is optional. Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record — they process the payment, collect VAT and e-mail you a licence key under their own privacy policy; we receive the order details (e-mail, product, amount) from them and never see card data. When you activate, your browser sends the licence key — and only the key — to ai-pix.co.uk/api/activate, which confirms it with Lemon Squeezy and returns a signed token; the token is stored in your browser's local storage and verified offline from then on. No account is created, nothing about your images is ever involved, and removing the token is one click on the Pro page. Activation requests are not logged beyond Cloudflare's standard, short-lived request logs.

Cookies and local storage

AI-Pix sets no cookies and stores no personal data in your browser (a Pro licence token, if you buy one, is stored in local storage — see above). The one thing it does store is the model files for the background remover (about 44 MB) and the upscaler (about 4.9 MB per style), downloaded from this site on first use, in your browser's cache so you don't have to fetch them again; they contain no information about you and you can remove them from each tool's "About the model" panel or by clearing site data.

Hosting

The site is served as static files by Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare's edge may record standard connection logs (IP address, user agent, request time) for security and operational purposes. AI-Pix does not access or retain those logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If this ever changes

If the site adds display advertising or analytics in future, this policy will be updated before it goes live, and any such scripts will be loaded only after you consent where the law requires it. The image tools will continue to process everything locally regardless.

Your rights
